The setup is quite easy, but not as easy as USB as this unit comes with a Comm Port and a Printer Port, for those of you old enough to remember how to set up a device using a comm port this is a piece of cake.

We needed a labeling system that work for our small business. It printet Eltron design is much better than Zebra - I'm sorry Zebra bought Eltron and the sturdy quality from Eltron is no longer there.

Purchased this unit, as the one we were using in our shipping department seemed to be giving up the ghost.
This is the printer that I use for all of my shipping. Other than that I have had no problems. The driver is hard to find. The Zebra is a great label printer. I can use it at my sons shop on his system. It has not failed me yet. Programming labels are easy on these printers.

We didn't need ink cartridges and was basical ly plug and go. These printers are real work horses. It works great so my son now hows the zebra and loves it.
Next time I'll try newer model. I have been using this Label printer for 4 years now.

Then one of our new customers were looking for a labeling system ektron we recommended the Zebra Eltron LP Printer to them and even bought it for them because we are so confident in how well it works for us. Why is this review inappropriate?

You get a great printer for a small amount of money. The price was right but as UPS is in the process of deprecating old printers, they could be lower.
This printer was purchased to produce UPS labels for everything I ship.
Pet food direct is doing exceedinlgy well, the ware has two lines working at full speed, with much consistancy confidence, correctness, with very loyal employees that have the success of the company at heart. This is actually the third printer that we have purchased the first was for our business about years ago and it lasted along time, we recently needed to replace it with our second one the older model works good for what we need it for. Thermal printer We needed a labeling eltrron that work for our small business.
I would recome nd this label printer to everyone.
